Wie es funktioniert How it works

Was ist ein MFGZ Fly-Out? What is an MFGZ Fly-Out?

Das Fly-Out richtet sich an alle fertigen Piloten (PPL oder höher). Ein Fly-Out ist kein EFT (European Flight Training) – es ist kein Fluglehrer dabei und es gibt keine Schulung. Es ist ein gemeinsames Fliegen unter Vereinskollegen: neue Flugplätze und ein tolles Rahmenprogramm.

The fly-out is open to all licensed pilots (PPL or above). A fly-out is not an EFT (European Flight Training) – there is no flight instructor and no training involved. It's flying together as club members: new airfields and a great programme on the ground.

Vom Club kommt die Idee, die grobe Route und das Rahmenprogramm (Besichtigungen, Landeerlaubnisse, etc.). Ob IFR oder VFR geflogen wird, entscheidet jeder PIC selbst. Wir besprechen die Strecke und die Besonderheiten gemeinsam im Vorfeld – aber am Ende des Tages entscheidet jeder PIC selbst über seinen Flugplan.

The club provides the idea, the rough route and the programme (visits, landing permissions, etc.). Whether to fly IFR or VFR is up to each PIC. We discuss the route and specifics together beforehand – but at the end of the day, each PIC decides on their own flight plan.

Falls jemand einen Fluglehrer mitnehmen möchte, steht das natürlich frei. Vom Club aus wird aber keiner gestellt. Piloten teilen sich die Legs untereinander auf.

If anyone wants to bring a flight instructor along, that's of course fine. But the club does not provide one. Pilots share legs among themselves.

Hotels und Transport vor Ort müssen von den Teilnehmern selbst organisiert werden – entweder im Vorfeld oder gemeinsam vor Ort.

Hotels and local transport need to be organised by participants themselves – either in advance or together on the ground.

Passagiere sind herzlich willkommen und können auf Cost-Sharing-Basis oder nach individueller Absprache mit dem jeweiligen Piloten mitfliegen.

Passengers are very welcome and may fly along on a cost-sharing basis or under individual arrangements with the respective pilot.
